An entrepreneur, investor, and ‘Teddy Bear’ – Mario grew up in his family’s restaurant in his native Austria, and has dedicated his whole life to food and drink ever since. He was responsible for the global growth of Vapiano, having successfully revived the brand and expanded it into 32 countries, after he and a consortium of investors acquired it in 2020. He remains a Board Member and Shareholder of Vapiano, and of Dean & David. He is also the Co-Founder & CEO of Curtice Brothers Natural Sauces, and Co-Founder of WhiteSpace Partners. And his experience, network, and reputation within the industry are outstanding – and he is regular keynote speaker at conferences around the world. He is fluent in German and English.
