Daniel Blasco

Senior Consultant

Daniel has more than 20 years of experience in hospitality and retail, with an extensive background in international markets. He began his career at Marks & Spencer and Warner Bros Park, before moving to Spanish restaurant group, Grupo VIPS (operators of Starbucks, TGI Fridays, VIPS, Ginos & wagamama) and eventually Alsea, following the acquisition. Throughout his time at Grupo VIPS, Daniel held leadership roles across operations and business development, specifically in their franchise business. Prior to joining White Space Partners, Daniel led the international team at wagamama, where he drove growth and profitability in its franchise business, with more than 60 restaurants over 22 countries across Europe and the Middle East, through the pandemic and Brexit.

At WhiteSpace Partners, he is leading the International Development and Franchising mandates for the Spanish and UK markets. He holds degrees from from the University of Oviedo and IESE Business School and is fluent in both Spanish and English.
